Climate change is an issue of great importance for the humanity. Scientists are trying to explore what to expect in the future climate based on historical studies and future scenarios in order to better adapt to the possible changes. The near future horizon for weather and sea waves prediction (six months period) is explored in this study based on seasonal atmospheric (WRF) and wave (WAM) forecasting models for the Eastern Mediterranean area, using high resolution discretization. The uncertainties of such forecasts are explored and statistical evaluation will be presented.
